My name is Fredo Eyong and I am the founder and designer behind FEARMAXO. My journey into design is a story of connection between my past and my present, between the digital world and the physical one.
Born in Cameroon and now building my life in Ireland, my perspective is shaped by the vibrant patterns and rich artistry of my heritage, filtered through the sleek, innovative spirit of European design. This unique crossover is the soul of my work; it’s a constant dialogue between memory and modernity.

My Story
I am a graduate of the South East Technological University (Carlow) with a Bachelor's in Industrial and Product Design, which gave me a foundational love for form, function, and the user's needs. Driven by a curiosity about how we interact with the objects around us, I pursued a Master's in Interaction Design. This advanced training taught me to see products not just as static objects, but as experiences. It’s where I learned to design with intention, creating pieces that don’t just fill a space, but enhance it and connect with the people who use them.
FEARMAXO is the physical manifestation of this education and my personal narrative. Here, I bridge the gap between the screen and the hand. I use advanced digital tools like 3D printing not just for innovation's sake, but to create sustainable, on-demand products that minimize waste. Every garment and every lamp is designed to be a functional piece of art, a conversation starter that carries a piece of its story with it.
